uuumm if you allways win your good at what you do, rocks style may not have been pretty but it worked, pretty good defence and great leverage on the punches

You can put down any fighter for the style they use. Marciano had no stlye, maybe not but he had a great chin and great power. People can say Clay would fight scared, running and jabbing until his opponenet was tired. Mike Tyson had no heart some people say, if you look at the positives of these fighters you'll see why they are greats

alright, marciano is great, but no way he would beat tyson. too big, strong, fast, and a more all-round evolved over time boxer. doesn't mean i'm hating on him, that's just the way i see it.

louis was shot, lastarza wasn't that good, and walcott, and charles are not in the same league as greats such as ali, foreman, liston, frazier, holmes, etc, etc, etc, ...

Excuses, excuses, blah blah blah blah blah, admit it, Marciano is in the Hall of fame for a reason. I think those that are on the board of judges for the hall of fame have a reason why they put him on the hall of fame.

Almost every all time great is Overrated really, everyone thinks Ali was unbeatable but he wasn't. Same for every other Great, they are all beatable, they are in that status for consistency.

Really Marciano probably fought as good opposition as Ali, Holmes, and Tyson, he just didn't look as pretty against ALL of em.

As for Joe Louis, Cus Damato always said that "Every great fighter always has one last great fight left in them!", or something like that, remember they are great for consistency.
