trout stylewise was a more difficult fight for cotto than canelo would be...not saying trout is a better fighter but his odd counterpunching, footwork, workrate and stamina were nightmare for cotto last night

canelo doesnt have much head movement, he doesnt move around a lot and doesnt have the greatest stamina or workrate...he is however big for the division and a very strong and accurate puncher

its a bad fight for miguel imho because canelo would likely beat cotto at this point just not as easily as people think

This, glad there is still a good poster around. Stylistically, trout is a bad matchup for cotto. Canelo is a better matchup for cotto stylistically, but trout is such a heavy puncher that things could get very interesting very quickly.

Cotto needs to make some tweaks to his game. Imo, he tried to be too cute last night. And where the fuk was his jab?

Canelo needs to man up and fight Trout. He and the good folks over GBP had no problems kicking Victoria Ortiz to the curb and fighting the jr welterweight that derailed that proposed fight. See no reason why he can't do the same here.
