Shame for Cotto.. Am I the only one who thought Trout looked like a super middleweight and Cotto looked like a welterweight... the size difference and reach were too much to overcome... it was really sad watching Cotto tripping up over himself lunging in... Trout was good with his reach but boring....Like Lennox Lewis or something fighting a small fighter...

But at least Cotto never stopped trying.. he was like a shot Tyson

Cotto is not washed up Trout was to big and skilled for him I think Cotto can still be a contender at 154

Cotto is obviously a top earner and can still make score some great purses. But he will struggle with better guys. Canelo will knock him out and a slew of 154 pounders would whack him too. Let him try Carlos Molina. He's think he's fighting a guy with 4 hands.

Boring? Trout was firing off combinations and giving Cotto a real pasting, superior in every department.

i agree trout looked massive in comparison to cotto. It really looked like a super middleweight fighting a welterweight. I dont think Cotto is shot but i do think he is small for 154. I dont see Trout staying too long at 154 i see him moving up to 160. Dude is big.

I think you will see him go the ODL route and make fights that help promote guys he signed.
I really hope they don't still make the Canelo fight, my dude doesn't have the legs or stamina to stay in there with the young guns any more.
I would love to see him do a farewell fight in MSG and go off into the sunset.
