I think both beats him but a fight vs. Manny at 154 is a fight he can win. I'd favor pac if he's not diminished too much from the Bradley fight.

it would be dumb though. just as dumb as calling Manny a lmw champ.

Trout wouldn't be able to fight as he normally does if he fights Martinez. Martínez is a very awkward southpaw with tons of mobility and a pretty good reach for his stature. According to boxrec he has 3 more inches of reach than Trout, which could easily make a difference. Cotto was missing by less than 3 inches tonight, so Martínez could catch him with punches that Cotto couldn't.
more active does'nt necesaary mean , more effective ...it's exatly the reason why sergio was able to time him being he created to much opening to capitalise on..trout is too smart for that...if trout handles sergios power , he'd exactly do what he does best and outbox sergio ...

According to this article, Martinez got the better of Trout in sparring. If you look at any interview of Trout speaking about his sparring with Martinez he always refers to it as a learning experience and that "Martinez's style is one he hopes to emulate."

He could beat both but I'm not sure I would bet on it.

When did Martinez get outboxed by Macklin and Barker? That's like saying Trout was outboxed by Delvin Rodriguez and David Lopez just because he lost a couple rounds to them.

Also, Martinez being inferior to Trout is your opinion, not a proven fact or whatever you make it out to be.

This article describes Martinez sparring Trout and Daniel Santos for the Dzinziruk fight:
                    http://******.craveonline.com/blog/1...-for-dzinziruk

In this video Trout talks about his sparring with Sergio, at 0:24 he says "He's [Sergio Martinez] a good champion that I definitely like to model after."
