That's what I usually do but this stuff happens too often around here. If you were to generalize and post crap about Mexicans you would get called out. I think it should be equal. I don't think it's responsible to generalize based on nationality. Boxing is one thing but this bs goes too far sometimes and it gets tiresome after a while.

Now this is what I call an ignorant comment. You have the right to dislike PR fighters but comments like this are beyond clueless and inappropriate. Do you know many Puerto Ricans, fom the island, to get to that conclusion? For all I know, this could have been newyoricans and, many times, they approach these types of events differently. By the way, this is not a knock on newyoricans but the fact is that those from the island have a different culture. I would never act like this over a fight result.

How do you know that the Trout fans didnt start the fight? I remember when I was at MSG for the Cotto/Clottey fight. There was a small group of Clottey fans running throughout the arena waving their flag in the face of Cotto fans. They were literally going up to Cotto fans that had PR flags and rudely shoving their flag in the faces of Cotto supporters. I'm surprised they didnt get their asses kicked and if they did it would have been rightly justified.

Exactly, they could have got into it for a variety of reasons and from what can be scene in the video I don't think we can be clear on who started it.

You know, I went to Mexico about 10 years ago and it was a great vacation. I went there with an uncle and we even made a couple of Mexican friends that took us under their wing and showed us a couple of nightclubs and the like. I think those guys were decent and I am grateful for the good time we spent there in Mexico City. I never met any disrespectful Mexicans until I started to spend more time surfing the internet. I'm not saying you are a disrespectful person because I don't know you in the real world but, sometimes, certain comments can lead to misunderstandings.

That's why I always try to be a fair and responsible poster, just like I try to act in my personal life. It's sickening to see some internet wars between PR's and Mex's and what you see is a bunch of "monkey this", "wet back that". That's beyond immature and messed up.
