LES "Lock N Load" Sherrington has taken a huge leap into the international boxing spotlight with his vacant WBO Asia Pacific middleweight title win in Townsville last night.
The Toowoomba-trained fighter claimed the belt after stopping Filipino Randy Suico for a technical knockout victory in the eighth round of their 12-round bout. Sherrington latest victory takes his professional career record to 30 wins - with 18 coming by knockout - and six losses.
