guerrero deserves the payday against mayweather but he ain't a real challenge. all alvarez has going for him is his size. he can also go make mills elsewhere fighting washed up retirees. **** him.

Alvarez. the fight is bigger since Alvarez has a bigger fan base, is a better fighter and makes him more money.

          Alvarez.

He's green and Floyd would be a big favourite - but there's a level of excitement there. There's a possibility that Alvarez, with his size, his youth, his fearlessness, his arrogance might just make it a difficult fight for Floyd.

Guerrero in comparison - is there any excitement and drama to it at all? I like Robert a lot but what does beating Aydin and Berto really mean in the context of a fight with Floyd Mayweather? Not much.

Fights should either be legacy-enhancing or exciting.

Guerrero is neither. Alvarez does have the potential to be intriguing.

Seriously, Guerrero is a really awful fight, made all the worse by Mayweather's inactivity.

Guerrero has the better Resume...who the *** have Canelo fought?

Canelo just have more HYPE then Guerrero but Guerrero is actually the better and more skilled BOXER

But Causals have bought the Canelo HYPE so yeah they would rather see that fight...Mayweather picks apart both of them Regardless so it really don't matter

Floyd followers will give him a pass as usual.

If we're gonna put Mayweather on a pedestal, then he should only be fighting the absolute best and accomplished. Alvarez is not the absolute best at LMW and Guerrero isn't the absolute best at WW. Mayweather should fight Pac, or just wait til Guerrero/Alexander/Brook/Bradley are done with each other. Canelo has so much work to do, he hasn't even begun to prove his mettle.

I agree on the first part.

However if he waits, people will say he waited and let them beat each other up even though none of them are on his level. If they where Top Rank fighters, people would say he was scared for his life as they know the fight wouldn't happen and could talk trash. Since they are not, people won't say **** and agree that Floyd beats them.

At the end of the day, outside of JMM (who Pac is doing the exact same thing by fighting JMM at WW) Floyd fights title holders and Champions in his weight class.

Pac hasn't done such a thing since 2009 when fighting Cotto at a catchweight. Pac being the only fighter that people deem "good" enough to step in the ring with him, isn't even fighting the best or at least title holders and or champions in years. Again, unless we talk about MW fighters, nobody is good enough to step into the ring and be the favorite to beat Floyd or not looked at as a cheery pick.

That tells you something no matter how much you hate him (not saying you do but people in general).
