He's gonna defend his title and undefeated record against Cotto at MSG. If he can't get up for this fight, then he might as well not be a boxer.

We'll see but Im getting the feeling he's gonna be manhandled by the smaller more experienced guy.

Cotto drops Trout early and drops him late. Late KO/TKO or UD for Cotto.

Neither guy has shown much ambition in a while, I think this comes down to who wants it more.

lol @ ANYONE who picked Trout.

Trout is a FNF fighter with NO POWER.

Cotto is a WORLD CLASS fighter.

It's possible he could get out-maneuvered, but I think Trout is a bit too big and fresh for Cotto to straight-up punk him like Guerrero did Berto. Trout has to make some stylistic adjustments so that he can capitalize Cotto's weaknesses. He has the attributes, now he has to show that he has the skill-set. He doesn't necessarily have to be aggressive and fighting on the front foot to win, but he has to let his damn hands go. He likes to utilize feints, but he can't spend too much time posturing. He also has to get his right hook working as a lead punch and within his combinations.

We know Cotto is gonna bring it, will Trout?

the thing is that cotto's seen it all....i don't think this guy's gonna be able to bring anything special against cotto thats gonna psych cotto out...plus, trout isn't gonna be able to hurt cotto, he doesn't have that power, much like yuri foreman....foreman was taller than cotto too, but foreman didn't have any power, so cotto was able to rough him up, same thing here

We might find out Why, El Trucho, has been the most AVOIDED Fighter, in the Game!!!
Props to Cotto, for testing the Waters.....

I don't think he's being avoided because of his skills, I think he just doesn't sell!!

Have to go with Cotto in this one.
