in all categories trout is good, not great...

he does not have A speed, mayweather and pac have A speed......

trout is not spectacular in any categorie and cotto is in a few..

cotto will be too much for trout unless he decides to sit down on his punches

and change cottos ability to impose his will through the fight....

i dont think trout has it in him to stay in the trenches and will get

      decisioned by cotto...

          Trout will win

Cotto does not do well with taller guys. As slow as Margarito is, he still hunted Cotto down and Cotto was tiring at the end. A fast strong guy with better range like Trout will keep Cotto at bay. I look for a late round KO for Trout. Also watching Cotto talk about getting out of boxing to spend time with his kids is the kind of mind game that takes away the edge. Not that I blame him, he's had a great career, and is always super fit. Trout is hungry, Cotto is not. I think this will be a much harder fight for Cotto than he's had to date, expect for when Margarito hit him with plaster for 10 rounds.

All that makes sense except I don't think

Trout is a stalking pressure fighter like

            Margacheato.

cant wait to watch this fight tonight with my friends, gonna be sooo sick....cotto doesn't have trouble with taller guys he has trouble with POWER, guys who can **** can crack cottos chin....yuri foreman was considerably taller than cotto, but he didn't have power so cotto made easy work with him....pac is a small guy, but he packs a punch and cotto wasn't 100% cuz of weight drain...he didn't lose to margarito cuz of his height, he lost cuz of POWER and PLASTER...and u saw the rematch, cotto made margarito's face look funny...SPEED could kill cotto, but only the kinda speed like mayweather and pac had, that kinda speed KILLS, but i doubt that trout has demon type speed, cotto by decision

lol... so cotto mostly win in intangible. that is like the grader tryin to justify his/her preceived notion that cotto will win anyways. Cotto power at this weight is vastly overrated

Reading this forum and seeing how many people are picking Trout over Cotto is making me doubt the little knowledge I posses about boxing! I must be missing something but I don't think Trout is better than Cotto in any aspect other than reach and height!

lol. had cotto beaten trout he wouldnt have been a champ. mayweather is the wba super welterweight champ. trout has a meaningless belt.
