Cause Goldenboy is more of an expert at the business side of promoting then Floyd and there are other business reasons Floyd uses the assistance of Goldenboy.

Miguel Cotto also uses Goldenboy to help out with his promotions and 50 cent uses the assistance of Top Rank.

Floyd is not Goldenboy fighter,they can not tell him who to fight and when to fight,he can fight without them being involved if he wants,he just uses their license to promote his fights
