Completely agree, Some feel Gamboa could have handled it a bit differently as far as pulling out last minute but who knows what really went on behind scenes.

Yes man he have it...but last time I saw him I wasn't impressed..anyway..he have a big future in front of him..I hope he realise that..now the are trying to out together mere boxing events here in Miami and broward...that should help the young cuban talents from here to get ahead in their careers...they were having troubles for find opponents..in here we have many talented young kid who can potentially develope in big stars...Sullivan barrera, hairon socarras, yoandry salinas, yoelbis gamboa are just few of many kid who can be great..

That's why he backout in the first place, come on dude, your boy got scared plain and simple Abril was illegally holding the whole fight, that ain't fighting, that's a Maricon! plus style make fights and Gamboa wouldn't be holding, so Rios would have landed big shots on that chin.. if salido dropped his ass, Rios would have finished him. it's not like Gamboa is known for his great defence, Rios would have been getting hit yes, but he would have smothered Gamboa all night, and would have walked his ass down till he knocked him out, that's why he swam back to Cuba with Fidel.

What a coincidence that months later Gamboa was bought out of Top Rank and signed with 50. He definitely didn't have any contractual issues...
