    Pacquiao vs. Marquez Undercard Fights

the pacquiao-marquez IV undercard has a few potentially entertaining bouts. snooki of Jersey Shore (say what? a promoter?) and 50 promote two of the biggest names in the preliminary fights.

yuriorkis gamboa will make his debut as a part of 50's stable. he'll take on the filipino michael farenas for the interim WBA super featherweight title. gamboa is still undefeated, but he hasn't fought in over a year.

snooki brings in featherweight patrick hyland to battle javier fortuna for the WBA interim featherweight title. hyland is 27-0.

miguel vazquez will also be in action who will defend his IBF lightweight belt mercito gesta. both fighters have called out broner and the winner would like to unify the belt at 135.

dec 8 should be a great night for boxing, a lot of questions will be answered come fight night.

    your thoughts?

I think it's a great card. Gesta-Vasquez is going to be a classic boxer vs puncher match up.

And what boxing fan does not like watching Gamboa in the ring? Dude is a beast. I'm hyped!

Gamboa is always fun to watch its just a shame he turned so long to become pro and now hes had an extended lay off due to promoter issues.

vasquez has won 11 straight fights and has successfully defended his crown four times during his two-year reign, never lost a championship match. gesta is an undefeated prospect who hasn’t gone the distance in a fight in over a year having won all his 2012 bouts by knockout gesta has been touted as the heir-apparent to pacquiao , that remains to be seen. on paper, it looks good

gamboa has won eight of his previous 11 fights by stoppage and is just 29 yrs old. gamboa real good but ring rust can be a factor, just ask berto

Hyland (27-0, 12 KOs) is the former irish and IBF international featherweight champion, has won all three of his fights this year en route to the No. 6 rating in the WBA.

Fortuna (20-0, 15 KOs) has won five of his last seven bouts by knockout and is former WBC Youth featherweight champion, rated No. 2 by the WBA.

from the looks of their KO percentage, fortuna has the advantage
