That don't sound like a man with good finance sense or people around him having it. Fact is that these guys trust the people around them but they need to stay in tune with their own business as well. George Foreman is perhaps the smartest professional boxer that ever lived.
I hear you but I was looking at this biography thing on him..he's got cash businesses man..plus he's got a tv show on the air that's completely separate of his top rank deal. If anything I think he's actually doing pretty well for himself right this second..tomorrow or yesterday who knows but he's getting side money when he's not in the ring which is very important for a celebrity boxer.

Stop being a bunch of gullible idiot zombies,50 and Floyd is beefing so of course he`s gonna say bs about him to make him look bad.Floyd was on showtime a few months ago promoting both his fighters Ishe Smith and J`leon Love.

And Floyd works with goldenboy to promote his own fights just like Cotto works with Goldenboy to promote his own fights.Floyd spends a minimum of ten mil to finance his fights and pays Goldenboy a fee to handle the logistics.

Somebody posted the article about Floyd `s business deal before. Also letters was leaked to fight hype website showing that Floyd never agreed to start a promotional company with 50 and that it was 50 and Tommy Smalls who tried to get Floyd to leave Al Haymon and start a promotional company with 50 and Tommy Smalls.

Stopped reading here. Floyd doesn't even have a license to promote.

also, although haymon is an adviser, he's not floyd's babysitter (or at least he shouldn't be)... floyd is a grown ass man and should be held responsible for what he does with his money... its not al haymon's job to be his personal financial manager....

its not that hard to set up a portfolio and investing ( i do it myself with vanguard), if floyd chooses not to do than that falls on him
Think beyond the 2 million. If Floyd went into the business with 50 Cent it wouldn't be the 2 million alone that he'd have to hand over, I'd expect that he'd have to shell out cash towards organising events, paying fighters pursues and acquiring new contracts.

The investment down the stretch of time would exceed 2 million. That's not necessarily a bad thing as the return could prove beneficial still it presents a risk, 2 million could quickly turn into 20 million which would result in him losing a significant portion of his money if the business flops.

There's other things that hasn't been mentioned such as how the profits would be reinvested and distributed amongst the shareholders.

I think the issue surrounding the company is too complicated for outsiders to comment on. That being said 50 Cents statements on Al Haymon not advising Floyd to get a financial adviser is true, I suppose it is not Al Haymon's responsibility to put those things in place but I get the impression that to the higher ups Mayweather is a dancing circus money and it is in their best interest that he ends up broke so that he is forced to fight for them.

It's clear where Mayweather's life is heading which is somewhat sad. Hopefully he has put aside a trust fund for his children so that they don't have to suffer as a result of his ******ity.

Seems like there's a lot more to this and it'll probably more to come out into the open (especially if 50 can make a success of his promotional company).

One thing is for sure...looks like Floyd don't manage his money (I am a little surprised as I thought a lot of the things he does on camera when he flashes the cash and that is mainly publicity but looks like there is some truth to it that he's that bad with cash).

50 doesn't play when it comes to business though.

(de facto) a Golden Balls fighter.

Uneucated people are fond of throwing around words of which they don't understand the meanings. I see it on this site all the time.
A little advice Einstein, if you're going to critique somebody's choice of words and call people "uneucated" ... really "uneucated??" you should at least spell check your post first.

I think its daft how everyone is trying to work out what's going on. We'll never really know the in and outs about somebody else's finances/business etc. Its pointless trying to work it out.
