  • So what does the world want now?

If the general sporting public are getting lukewarm about Manny and Floyd sharing a ring, who now replaces either or both of them in the general sporting worlds interest?

Who is/are going to man up and front our sport to the wider audience?

Who as the skills, the charisma, the arrogance, the desire and the ability to cope?

    Broner?

Too soon? Who does he fight to make ‘IT’ happen?

    Where does boxing go now?

We all love it, always have, but what does the general public get its teeth stuck into?

    Are we at a crossroads?

Tye Fields vs Tyson Fury. Winner gets the keys to the universe.

You mean whos going to be the face of US boxing? Mayweather is definitely not the face of European boxing. Broner? maybe, hes definitely not going to get anywhere in Europe, or many other places.

So the 'world' is big word to use. US doesnt mean the world.

This guy vs Broner. Fight would be major. Even do a 24/7.

Sorry but youre wrong. A fighter hasnt made it until they fight in the US. US is the big stage.

Not even lukewarm for me anymore. Lots of guys coming up with talent, but it's hard to say considering their opposition. Some already established. Time will tell though. Orozco, Russell Jr., Santa Cruz, Broner, Donaire, Alvarez, Rigondeaux, Golovkin, Ward. In all honesty I'm not even looking for a new face for the sport. I just want to see great fighters do what they do best.

So how do you explain Haye, Wlad, Vitali etc?

I'm sorry but that way of thinking applied in the 80s, 90s, probably early 00s, but the European boxing scene is big enough to be its own recognisable stage.

Nothing is going to 'take that place' so to speak.

Pacquiao-Mayweather would have been the biggest fight EVER, that's not just something that can be replaced with new faces. There can be other big fights and there will be, but there wont be another quite like that. Sadly it lost it's appeal throughout the bull****.
