The December 1 event at Madison Square Garden is an explosive tripleheader with the addition of unbeaten Puerto Rican phenom Jayson Velez taking on Mexico's Salvador Sanchez II in a 10-round fight for the vacant WBC Silver Featherweight title in a classic Puerto Rico vs. Mexico battle. In the second co-featured attraction, one of boxing's top young talents, middleweight Danny "Miracle Man" Jacobs, will face Cleveland's Chris "The Irish Ghost" Fitzpatrick in a 10-round middleweight fight as Jacobs returns for his second fight after winning a harrowing battle against a cancerous tumor that attacked his spine. He may not be great and all and I'm not even a fan of his but it's his right to do what he wants. At least he's embracing his uncle unlike many Mexicans who have forgotten about the great Salvador Sanchez. This day and age the youngsters just care about Canelo/Jr. and them.

Sanchez II is garbage and yes I agree, he tries way to hard to be throwback like his dad with that idiotic fro. I know I am in the minority here but I think Trout beats Cotto handily. I have seen nothing from Cotto at JMW that makes me think otherwise. It will be a good fight but I just don't think Cotto can really hurt many JMW's. Foreman is pretty much the only opponent he could hurt and stop. I think Trout beats him and loses a BS decision at MSG. You have to KO Cotto to lose in San Juan pt. 2 lol. I will give mad props to Cotto though if he legitimately beats Trout 100%. If so, I would like to see Cotto vs. Pac II "possibly" at 150 lbs. Probably wouldn't end any differently but just to see him fight Pac when not weight drained.
