To say nothing of the fact that most of the fight happened in close quarters where you don't necessarily have to see everything, you can feel your way around.

I know we're not really used to seeing two prime fighters sqaure off that much these days...but many times, this is how they end up: fights start out as 50/50, they go to war, show their worth, nobody gets KOed, winner moves on to better things, both leave with respect.

Fall from what happened that night. Sometime i wonder why do you guys watch boxing if all you going to do is criticize the fight. If you think you can do it better go turn pro put your self into a position to challenge Berto and then Blind him then KO him so we all can see how it supposed to be done.
Berto's right eye was closed from the 2 round until the last bell, I don't remember what round his other eye was shut, this guy can't take advantage of a closed eye, what makes you think he's smart enough to deal with a boxer who has the total package?

Berto is not exactly an easy guy to take out he is a tough dude. Also one eye started closing in round 2 was properly closed by round 4, the other eye wasn't closed until like round 9 or 10. So it was 2 or 3 rounds and Guerrero had already by that point taken a ton of hard uppercuts and had his lead eye shut and was winning even with that he still went after Berto more.

He beat Berto in a fashion nobody claimed he would and took his best punches time and again, not to mention he continued to show how grimy he is in that ring which is a good thing for playing to win.

That to me is impressive, not like Guerrero is a knock out artist so him not stopping a guy is not that big a deal.

I didn't see the ref or doctor stop the fight, I didn't see Berto use a seeing eye dog to vacate the ring......probably because Berto could see.

While getting his eye detached, you talking about Margarito with a granite chin compared to Berto, lol.

You misjudging what took place that night. You only looking at it from a "oh he couldn't do this to berto so how he gonna compete with this guy" point of view.

But the truth is the reason he did that to berto and the reason berto survived was cause he stayed on the inside refusing to give berto what he needed. He went in with the game plan to take away berto best asset and that was his power and explosiveness. So in order to do that he smother his own punches just to keep berto smother aswell. Why cause if he stayed on the outside and fought berto the chance of getting caught with something huge was more likely. He fought a perfect fight for him to win. what he only lost like 3 rounds tops. It was a calculated game plan and adjustment Guerrero made, he didnt fight berto like that cause that all his skills will allow him to do.

                What are you talking about?

What closed Berto's eye was when he was boxing his head off, he couldn't miss with that straight left, there was no need to adjust any game plan.

What kept Berto in the fight was that he didn't have to look for Guerrero because he was right in front of him from the 3rd round and on. When the smart game plan would've been to keep doing what he was doing in the 1st and 2nd round.

TS is getting battered worse than Berto. Wonder if he'll finish this fight or quit on his stool.

That how you see it. Not how him and his team saw it. HE fought berto on the inside to take away the only thing berto had to hurt him, which was his speed and explosiveness from the outside. Guerrero fought a smart fight. If Guerrero would have fought on the outside and berto catch him with a Hard shot and stop Gurrero where would he be now? Everyone would be talking about he doesn't belong at 147 so he should go back to 135 or 140 but since he won and the way he won people are talking about him fighting mayweather now.

Its all about risk management why fight berto on the outside and give him a chance when Guerrero could fight him on the inside where berto has nothing to offer Guerrero.

This is guy they're trying to throw at Mayweather, GTFOH.
Actually that should have been a TKO stoppage after the 4th round bro! Other than that, he beat the crap out of Berto in a way no one has.
