Ward is going to win this, possibly quite comfortably, but I think we're all underestimating just how motivated Pavlik is going to be for this fight. He is in the last chance saloon. This is a huge opportunity to get back on top, so he's going to give it his all and he has a new trainer and he is going to be rejuvenated for this. It could be a good fight. Pavlik can still punch and if he hits that sweet spot, he could trouble Ward. You never know in boxing.

People seem to be overestimating the task ahead of Pavlik, as if he is fighting prime George Foreman or something. Ward will likely win every round and make easy work of Pavlik, but he isn't going to punish him to the point of ending his career, or his life as someone posted. Alcohol has already done more to ruin Pavlik's career than Ward will.
