I know his name. I know his nicknames.

Before the Mayweather fight, he decided to change it. Look at this shirt.

Guerrero won't hang. The only difference Mayweather Guerrero and pac fighting Clottey/Margarito/Mosley is that Guerrero is actually winning and isnt at the end of his career. Not to mention holds a title which is something Pac hasn’t done since fighting Cotto at a catchweight back in 2009.

Mayweather Guerrero (due to how great Floyd is and having highly outrageous standards put on him) is a **** fight. But so is most ANY fight against most anyone fighter that is not MW.

Outside of Pac (who even the pactarts are claiming him to be shot as they know what JMM is about to do once again) there is nobody out there that is a real threat. Yet some how the critics who place these standards on him, turn around and hate on him because THEY favor him to beat anyone that is not a MW.

You know you're great when someone has to pull a guy from MW to beat you when you're not even a big WW. This WILL be looked at when its all said and done.

Anyway, Cotto deserves an Alvarez fight and Alvarez deserves a Cotto fight. That fight needs to happen (first) or the same **** heads crying about Floyd being deathly scared of Alvarez will scream blood murder about Alvarez being too green and untested and is a **** fight for Mayweather (post fight of course) if he doesn't fight Cotto first.

Guy is a tool. Guarantee he doesn't respond to that. If I'm wrong, then call me out on it, that's cool. I knew I wasn't wrong here though.

I think people forget this. Floyd would be the favorite over ANYONE from 147-154. There is one fight that could concievably happen where isn't the favorite and like you said he's a MW.

My gut tells me GBP doesn't want Canelo to lose before the Floyd fight, and IMO he loses to Cotto. I'll definitely be interested in next year's big fights and how it all shakes out.

Hoya has made it clear that Alvarez isn't ready for Floyd and he's not. His youth and size is his only chance and when Floyd adjusts to that, it's game over.

But hey if Alvarez where to fight Cotto and win I would love to see it. Like I said though, nobody from 154 and below is "good" enough to come into the fight as the favorite or "good enough" to the point that people wouldn't bash the fight (pre or post) agasint Floyd.

I've only seen Trout fight a few times and he was descent. One fight was on Showtime and I saw bits and pieces of the Rodriguez fight.

I don't like making assessments when I haven't seen that much of a fighter (i.e Trout), but I think Cotto stops this guy. I like Trout and I like his story, but I don't see him taming Cotto.

I know Trout gets a lot of love on NSB which makes me skeptical about picking Cotto. I feel like there could possibly be something that I don't know about Trout, but based off what I've seen, I don't think he can beat Cotto.

I think Trout has a better chance against Canelo.
