        If US boxing got hit hard after the Berlin wall came just imagine what's going to happen when China gets into the mix. I think boxing is one of the few main American sports where they have to play against other countries.

          arreola was born in california.

          he grew up here and fought here. he's an american of mexican descent

          mexican american works. but he's not a "mexican fighter." those guys usually have very short amateur careers and turn pro young to make money. arreola had a good amateur career and turned pro in the states.
