No kidding. I guess those "incredible memories" have a few gaps here and there. LOL

If I'm Hatton, I still feel better retiring on the Senchenko loss than on the Manny KO. After 3 1/2 years off, he looked good at the start of the fight, saw that he is still endeared to his fans, and showed people he was able to get back in fighting shape one last time. The guy had a 5 inch reach advantage. I think he should have taken a softer touch and then went after someone like Senchenko, but he chose to try and take a big step. Not a damn thing wrong with that.

I thought about Winky Wright who also failed in his comeback earlier this year when Hatton got k.o.'d.

Hatton has nothing to be ashamed of
he didn't do anything wrong, he fought as well as he could fight
he's just shot, and is opponent was too tough for him
don't see why people say he shoulda taken a lesser opponent
Senchenko seemed to fit the bill, he's nothing spectacular
if Hatton couldn't beat him impressively he'd fail against anyone else
weird he was depressed with all his damn money, but whatever
hope he got and remembers the hint about no more boxing
if that was his problem, it should be over now

I honestly thought that Hatton looked good early on like figured he would. Actually, I thought he was better than I expected initially but he faded like I thought he would as well. Had he taken a true tuneup fight like a 6 or 8 rounder against a decent, local fighter or something to see where he stood, he would have been better off. That way he would know that the cardio may not be where it needed to be and he could focus more on that before a bigger fight.

I think he could still fight to beat some top guys after another couple of months of intense cardio training.

He should have fought Lovemore N'Dou and Jose Luis Castillo. Both of those fights would have made him look good and gained the confidence needed to get back to the top. Instead he fought a guy who was naturally bigger, with a height and reach advantage, coming off an bad loss to pillow fish Paulie. He probably won't make it as a promoter, because he couldn't even hand-pick a good comeback.
