He's 23 years old!! His idol is probably Mayweather as he matures he might seperate himself from that type of image, I hope he does. As far as the most important attribute .......he has talent! Judging a kid who's 23 years old doesn't show that you (the OP) are very mature either! Lets see where he's at at 25 years old, awful lot of haters here! They're usually the ones who know nothing about boxing!! Give the kid a chance to grow! Real boxing fans don't HATE any fighters!!! Ray

      Agreed.

As long as he keeps handling business in the ring and keeps giving great interviews like this, he'll go down in history as one of the greats

I tend to disagree and think that he is just naturally that way and only ups it up a bit for the cameras, which isn't too hard if you're that way anyway. You know, the kind of guy that walks around thinking he is better then everyone that you wanna curb stomp.

But it's irrelevant. Whether he is playing or not, he is doing a good job in achieving the means to and end, which is attracting a huge audience of people like myself (the majority) who want to see him get brutally defeated and silenced. Because his fanbase (the minority) certainly isn't gonna make him do numbers should he ever transition over to PPV.
            True, I agree.

Wether it's an act or not, it's going get him good results.

Lots of haters = Good PPV numbers.

Can't say that I wan't to see him pulverized though haha.

            I'm pretty indiferrent towards him.

You're getting butthurt over nothing Ray.

You took it personal that he is being disliked. I pointed out that this is a good attribute (He is good for Boxing). A fighter who has an aura that makes you wanna see him get KO'd attracts attention to Boxing. He has achieved that.

I don't like him and many don't either, and they all will watch his next fight. What's so bad about saying that. He achieved the desired results if the old saying "That he is just playing the role of being the bad guy" is true.

So you want him to be something like a Shane Mosley?

Tell me, what good is it to be like Wladimir Klitschko outside the ring, if you're black and don't have a natural fan base like some UK sensation or someone from the Mexican-American/Puerto Rican heritage?

Your wish for him to separate himself from the likes of Mayweather would only hurt him. So unknowingly you're hoping for him to fail, through unintended consequences.

Why can't we all just come together and embrace Broner for what he is and trying to be? And say good job Broner, you have me convinced in wanting to see you get knocked out and taste defeat for the first time. I will be watching your next fight and contributing to your pockets.

                  It's just being honest.

I agree with you Broner is good for boxing. You need different types of characters. Some fans like him and some can't stand him but everybody in boxing knows his name now. In a few years he could very well become a crossover star.

I do like Broner but he's trying way too hard to be funny. It's like he's trying to come up with new funny quotes everytime he opens his mouth. I bet he spends a lot time at home writing punchlines lol.
