Is this a joke? Winky and it's not even close. Taylor relied too much on his pure athleticism. He had a very good jab but that's about it.

I agree. Wright was past prime when he fought Taylor at his best and he still outboxed Taylor. Taylor was a full middleweight and Wright was really a 154 pounder. I thought Winky deserved to win. Taylor did ok with his size, reach, and power, but for pure boxing Winky was much better. He was one of the best jabbers and defensive boxers I have ever seen.
