Yup, and He wouldn't even fight Mosley at 140 after he saw what he did to Margarito.

          Agree with this!!!
All fighters agreed to it so nothing really wrong with it but catchweight's are bad for the sport

THANK YOU!!!! I hate Manny and his catchweights but Oscar made him go up two divisions to 147. Sorry but Manny shouldn't get any crap for facing DLH at the 147 that was all on Oscar.

Or forced into it as is in the Cotto fight. They were both under Top Rank what could Cotto say I don't want the fight. Arum could just say fine I won't make a card with you till your contract expires. Cotto even admitted as much when he said he didn't have much of a choice, yes he had some leverage but nothing like he does now. It's amazing how once Cotto left Top Rank he got a Floyd fight and all of a sudden a fight with Manny can't be made.

I mean FFS Cotto knows as well as Floyd how much he was getting hustled by the old bastard. Arum offered him the same amount of money the first time he fought Manny 5 million and some PPV buys. He made 8 million with Floyd on top of PPV buys. Arum not only low balls his own guys, he still takes his commission on top of that, the guy is a hustler.

                07-26-2008 vs Antonio Margarito @147

                11-14-2009 vs Manny Pacquiao @145

Considering the date and weight that Cotto tipped the scales during weigh in, the possibility that 1 lb will drain a him is purely BS.

And with regards to the DLH bout, Pac tipped the scales @145 in that 147 bout.
All these words and research for naught. Cotto was drained end of story, don't be fooled by the fraud. If he had not been having weight trouble PEDquiao would fight him at 147 like he fought Oscar and Clottey instead of the 145

it was oscar's idea to have the fight at ww. pac had just fought one fight as a lightweight when oscar called him to fight at ww. oscar originally wanted to fight cotto, but cotto got beat by margarito and instead of fighting margarito oscar cherry picked pacquiao.

I don't understand how Manny gets any criticism for the DLH fight?!?

It was DLH that wanted Manny. DLH called all the shots, just like he did against Floyd. DLH thought he'd whoop Manny at the weight but he was a walking zombie and Pac creamed him.

Can't hate on him for that.

Other than that I just generally don't like catch weights in general. Like some have said, there are weight divisions for a reason. If you wanna go after a guys title there just go to that weight, if you can't leave it alone.
