Adrien Broner Calling Out Manny Pacquiao to Fight Him

broner was interviewed before the guerrero-berto bout and was asked who he saw himself facing next or in the near future, broner said one name, "manny pacquiao". broner is one of boxing's future p4p stars and the fight would be the next big thing after the fall out of mayweather-pacquiao.

broner thinks that pacquiao and marquez are just fighting for the money and believes he can beat pacquiao if given the chance. as for pacquiao, he's used to facing undefeated opposition and ultimately dominated each one.

broner's defense is over rated, backs off in a straight line, broner hasn't fought an opponent who is even close to pacquiao's trademark ferocious offense and athleticism. pacquiao wins by tko in the late rounds.

    your thoughts?

broner has a special deal with al haymon and GBP, broner's name might be on GBP website, but haymon is the pupet master and the one who decides which fight to make for broner. haymon knows the ins and out of boxing politics being an adviser to so many high profile boxers. one thing is for sure, if there is enough revenue (no doubt there is), then it's possible

Broner's 23, he's got time on his side.

We'll need to see where Manny is in a year or so to gauge how the fight would play out. Manny has been on a decline recently, Broner is very much improving....we'll see.

pacquiao is in the process transforming to another level and reinvent himself, pacquiao is trying to do what he's never done before with his vintage style, which was to knock out one guy(marquez) whose never been sparked before. if he's successful, then that just means pacquiao is a genius. if not, then retirement is a great possibility, the stakes are high, come fight night, history will be made

I don't put much stock into pre-fight reports like that.

I heard the same stuff about Manny before the 3rd Marquez fight and before the Bradley fight, it didn't work out. Manny hasn't looked himself in quite some time, so I'll wait to see what he looks like next month before thinking about how this fight would play out in a years time.

that's right, but pacquiao's all-action fighting style makes it a more exciting fight and much more probable for fight of the year candidate. mayweather has never won any FOTY or knock out the year award ever. history will much more remember visually action packed fights

How brave of Broner to call for a fight that won't happen. If he really wants to fight Pacquiao before he retires then he needs to sign with top rank, beat Rios and he will get his beating from Pacquiao and get well paid for it. For now he could tell Oscar to get him a fight with Matthysse. Lucas would be glad to KO this annoying bragger.
