Yeah I respect your take on this fight but compared to the likes of Rios-Alvarado and maybe even Ortiz-Lopez, this one would get less consideration...

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto-Mayweather got more votes (not saying that it would, though)

And there's nothing up with the Ghost. He just got bigger through training and diet. He's taller than Berto so he had the frame to carry extra weight.
Guerrero was a slick southpaw that couldn't punch worth **** as a featherweight. I fully expected him to outbox Berto, but that's not what happen. He mauled him. A blown up featherweight, who wasn' physically strong in that division, isn't usually gonna have a lot of success mauling a solid welterweight. I could be wrong. But knowinmg Ghost's history, this performance just doesn't pass my smell test.

The Ghost wasn't dirty, he just gave Berto a mauling.

Great fight. Berto is disappointing, he too damn big to let a guy like guerrero push him around like that. Mayweather vs Guerrero May 4, 2013....ooo well

I used to think 4 years ago that Berto was the next top skilled fighter but I guess that was who he was fighting. That's why it is important for promoters to get these young guys in the ring with the tough comp early to allow them to learn and improve, win or lose.
I can see Guerrero totally outclassed by Mayweather. Like i said before, I couldn't see too many tools from Guerrero. I was rooting for him, but just saying it like it is.

Always wondered why a fighter with speed & power like Berto..NEVER uses his legs to move. Makes for great fights, but tougher fights

Come on man. Paul Williams? Paul Williams has been exposed to being able to be out boxed by a technician. Paul Williams was just too tall for WW but if Quintana got inside and beat Williams to the punch in the first fight then for sure Floyd would have exposed Williams flaws, holes and lack of defense (in my opinion) Paul got his revenge in the rematch with Quintana but he never tightened up them loose ends in his fight game. Williams belonged at 154/160. All in all, I would have never picked Williams over Mayweather.
