Did Floyd ruin Ricky Hatton's life?

He is a vile individual he beat his old defenseless father only because he reminded him what Floyd had done to him so he shouldn't come back to boxing.
He is also a drug user, but these things have no bearing here friend for we all know you are not perfect either.Comment

Did Hatton retire after Pac or Floyd fight?
Hatton defeated Lazcano by UD and won by tko against Malignaggi. Was this after Pac or Floyd fight?
Which lost made Pac or Floyd an alcoholic or a druggie?Comment

I have a hard time believing Floyd can take somebody's sould with the way he fights. If anything he leaves you frustrated. He could have affected his confidence, but the Malignaggi fight prob brought it back.
Now Pacquiao could definetly ended his career, since Hatton became Pacmans fastest knockout in 7 years, and got dominated in the 2 rounds the fight lasted, by a guy coming up in weight. A loss like that probably leaves you wondering if you where any good to begin with.Comment

Too right!
Hatton never really dwells much about the loss to Floyd, but it is the loss to Pacquiao that really haunts him. He wasn't driven to drugs and thoughts of suicide after Floyd, but after Pacquiao.
A lot of this "Floyd ruined Hatton" talk is revisionist historyComment

It's aura not aurora. Another attempt at being sophisticated backfired.This.
Floyd showed Hatton he wasn't invincible. Hatton's 43-0(?) going into that fight was more than just a pretty record, it was a comfort blanket, and aurora of invincibility which he relied on. Once it had been taken, the doubt crept in and his mental state deteriorated.
Just playin
decent post.
He got into altercations with his girlfriend and the police was called several times.Comment
