I don't know if he's going to want to permanently retire on a defeat. If he doesn't rematch Senchenko he might take an 8-rounder against a domestic level opponent, just to try and get a W in order to go out on a win.
He perhaps should have took a softer option for his return but it's understandable why he took the route he did. He knows now that he just don't have it anymore and hopefully he can walk away with no regrets.
