Oliver Mccall had the most freakish chin in boxing history. Unknockable.Unbreakable.

He's not that good of a boxer and he had mental issues but his chin was something made from the deepest granite. Took every power shot in the book for 9 rounds against Frank Bruno (massive puncher) and was still attempting to walk Bruno down. Let Tyson use him as a punching bag for years in sparring and basically just let Tyson tee off on him. Let Lewis tee off on him in the 2nd fight and stood there crying yet never going down. Just a freakish chin. Trying to find one fight where he was even 'hurt' and can't find it. A wide variety of fights where he was basically taking punishment and showing very little defense, yet just walked through all of it.

If Julian Jackson had Oliver Mccall's chin, he will be top 10 all time Great.
    Possibly top 5.

I thought about that but he didn't take quite as much punishment as Mccall did and I think he was very noticably hurt against Foreman and wobbly? Let's not forget Mccall also let Tyson use him as target practice for hundreds of hours and rounds.
But yes George Chuvalo was a iron chin monster too.

Douglas-McCall is another one, that's an underrated fight IMO and another one where Douglas actually lives up to his potential. Both do I guess. A lot of flush shots and combinations from Buster and, of course, that sick jab he had. All landing on McCall and he gave little reaction to any of it. Lampley and the crew were uninterested in the fight so you can hear how hard the shots both of them were landing, wasn't an all out brawl or anything just a very tough HW fight. McCall also basically his prime too, they were fighting for the chance to get Tyson IIRC

I once saw him going ALL OUT, full sweat shadowboxing in the middle of the Orleans Casino promoting a fight he had. it wasn't in a setup ring or anything by the promoters, it was just him - in a full sweat, throwing sick combos and looking like madman in a random area of the casino lol

Hell yes. Oliver McCall, like Camacho (R.I.P.) is not going down in any fight. You can outscore him, outwork him, but he's going to come at you all night long.

Oliver was physically a monster, but mentally (like many fighters including Tyson) he had weaknesses and problems outside the ring. Lack of discipline, drug addiction, prison time, etc. We never saw Oliver at his best level because he couldn't mentally handle the boxing lifestyle.

Mccall's chin make Tyson's look like Amir Khan. If Tyson had Mccall's chin, he would have lost via UD to Douglas that night instead of being knocked out.
