    Even after a week, the boxing world is still buzzing over Adrien Broner’s dominant performance over Antonio DeMarco in his debut as a Lightweight.

    While Broner had been garnering a lot of praise, some felt he had yet to be tested or faced a formidable opponent. DeMarco was viewed as Broner’s toughest test as he was facing a taller, longer, and hard hitting southpaw that could pose stylistic problems. Broner passed his test with ease and in the process hoped to shut down all the critics who questioned him.

                      While they were comparable weight Demarco is there at his limit while Broner is at least 2 divisions below his. This is the same reason danny garcia is so successful at 140..they are fighting mostly naturally weightwise smaller guys..look at bronners arms vs those of demarco..add speed to that and you get the result we just saw. Broner needs to come up to 140 or 147 before he's truly tested himself. Actually 140 should be good for him at his next fight, 4 or so of them before another jump to 147 by then he'll have that division to himself as that'll be two years at minimum and I don't see either pacquaio or mayweather around two years from now and Malignaggi, bradley, and others who'll be in that division will be much older.

                                  Pac is on his way out of the sport, and is about to take his second loss of the year in a couple weeks. Doesn't make sense to make him the logo. Broner is the future, and he's breaking ratings records on HBO. He is Mr. HBO.
