i'm with you....there does seem to be something criminal going on with al haymon and his stable...haymon has leverage on hbo/showtime because he also manages a number of high profile music acts, like beyonce

how is this possible? what's the logic behind it?

Usually it happens when a guy does very good TV ratings even though he doesn't sell a lot of tickets, like a Bradley for example. But Berto's ratings aren't that good if I'm not mistaken. So the only explanation is Al Haymon is in bed with HBO and got them to pay that much in exchange of some "favors".
