Rather than speculate about who may or may not be on PED's, I'm curious to know what effect you guys think they have on a fighters performance.

They have a massive impact. They can make you train harder and recover quicker which makes a huge difference. Something like EPO turns guys into machines.

The more technical the sport, the less important they are however. PEDs don't give you the kind of skill you need for the top level in boxing, for example.

There are an endless amount of drugs with completely different profiles and benefits.

You can improve recovery, stamina, punching power, general strength, reactions....everything you can imagine can be improved. When you get smart people (the likes of Conte) who know the exact profile of each drug and how to balance them out, you can improve just about all of those things while minimizing the side-effects.

Depends, the real benefit of PED is that you can train harder and longer thus improving beyond what you normally could and it compounds if as you get in better shape you work even harder. If that is what a guys does the effects can be astounding.

If a guy is taking PED as a short cut just doing their normal thing they don't do much.

But steroids can enhance, stamina, recovery, endurance, combine that with someone who is very skilled and it's an obvious unfair advantage especially if that person can recover better during hard training and avoid injury.
