And Vitali clinches a lot less than most heavyweights. Can't fault him for his brother's sins.
Vitali isn't boring, though he's had some boring opponents like Kevin Johnson. It takes two to make a fight.Comment

The Klitschko name will be remembered in boxing history, whether it's Vitali or Wladimir they will remember the name and talk about how two brothers dominated an entire division. It doesn't matter which brother will be remembered, the legacy of the Klitschko name will never be forgotten and that upsets people. But like I say it's better to accept it now...Comment

I don't think that's a Nate Silver-worthy analysis of the numbers. More like wishful thinking.
I don't see what two educated, well-adjusted, sportsmanlike gentlemen have done to earn this "hate" you speak of, unless it's just jealousy because they are rich, intelligent and successful and the people who *hate* them are not.
They are educated, wealthy and grew up in a privleged life under the soviet system.
I think you know where I'm getting, I don't need to post anymore names lol ;DComment

I was talking about Charr. When he fights Gomez next it will be his tenth fight since the beginning of 2010. And I have no clue what double standard you are talking about because Haye has only had four fights in the same time period. So, it clear, and as I already stated Charr was a horrible opponent but at least he stays busy in the ring and not just by running his mouth as some fighters do. Do I need to say who that fighter happens to be?Comment

The last great Heavyweight fight the public remember is Lewis vs Klitschko, Boxing has been irrelevant in mainstream interest and only Pacquiao and Mayweather are considered the Heavyweights of this generation. In the public esteem the 90's heavyweights had ridiculous star power, Mike Tyson was the highest paid athlete in the world at one time (80M a year).Comment

If you are trying to say that Manny is as popular as Tyson was I don't agree. I remember when early in Tyson's career complete non boxing fans, to include many woman, were absolutely captivated by Iron Mike. And I am not saying that they don't exist. But I honestly don't even know any casual boxing fans that feels that way about Manny. I also stand by my statement about the Klit brothers.Comment
