    Dominican junior welterweight Joan Guzman continues to train hard for his November 30th bout against the Russian fighter Khabib Allakhverdiev at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. Yesterday in Miami, Guzman held a very hard training session along with his trainers German Caicedo and Micky Ward. Guzman-Allakhverdiev is going to have the vacant WBA junior welterweight title at stake. The fight will headline “BEATDOWN 2012” - presented by Acquinity Sports.

                      I hate to say it, but I have a strange feeling that he is the next one to test positive for something. I hope I am wrong as I really am rooting for him to regain his previous glory. With that said he looks good, I hope he has a great performance, and brings excitement to the already stacked 140 division.
