Mexican-Americans are exactly that in my book, Mexican genetics, American culture, but equally American as they are Mexican.

There has been so many amazing and entertaining American fighters over the years that boxing would be a dull place if the Yanks hadnt been involved. My mate is much more of a casual fan, but that was his impression, that Americans are down right boring entertainment yet still great technicians and boxers

I did not know Berto was American. Either way I find him boring. It's a puff puff clinch clinch with him.

Lamont Peterson can be exciting... When he gets knocked down, or hurt, he goes into this robot/zombie mode, and he just walks forward and throws punches... He did it to Bradley (but to no avail), he did it to Ortiz (to earn a draw after 2 knockdowns Marquez), and he did it to Khan (To win*)

If you're born on American soil, you're American.

It's upsetting to think that majority of people around the world consider Mexican-Americans 2nd rate citizens. They will never classify them as Americans.
I agree with this. It's the same as it used to be with Italian Americans and ***ish Americans. Now they are just white people and that's just for a descriptor.
