Banks is a solid fighter. He may not be a future HOF'r, but Seth has only been boxing for 4 years. I was just really surprised.
At the bookies/ Casino's Banks was nearly a 4/1 underdog, so it was a decent upset.

Banks and Mitchell both signed a contract containing a rematch clause, so if Mitchell wants it he gets another shot.

Golden boy and k2 promotions both agreed to put a rematch clause in the contract and Banks and Mitchell signed it. Mitchell has done nothing wrong.

Sure why not? without significant improvement in defense Mitchell would probably be stopped again.

Mitchell has a really good jab, and good footwork. They need to tune down the aggression, and turn him into more of a boxer-puncher. He has the right abilities and skill set to do this.

Since it's the second fight in a row he has been seriously hurt in the early rounds, him and his team definitely need to adjust their tactics and game plan, but nobody can deny the potential is still there.

As far as I'm concerned, good for him for taking the rematch. It's ballsy, and it's an interesting fight.

Rematch would end the same way as the first.

Mitchell is a really exciting fighter and he's got bollocks. I'd be happy to see him get the chance to avenge the defeat, although I'm not sure what difference it'll make.

If Mitchell gets zonked again by Banks we'll know he'll probably never reach elite level. So an immediate rematch is risky but I don't see him learning better defense by fighting a tomato can in the interim.

He's got a decent jab. He needs to use it more to set up his offense. Be smart with his aggression. If he goes in swinging like the last time, he's just gonna get tagged all night by Banks.

But I'd like to see Banks make more coin by fighting Adamek in NJ.

Mitchell most definetely needs to stay away from Banks and fighters of Bank's caliber. His handlers are obviously moving him too quickly. If he wants to make it to the elite level, his defense needs to improve drastically. In boxing, dropping your hands and rushing in with your chin exposed is not a good ingredient for success.
