    WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner is fully backing former two-time beltholder Andre Berto (28-1, 22KOs) to defeat WBC interim-welterweight champ Robert Guerrero (30-1-1, 18KOs) on Saturday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. HBO will televise the fight.

    Broner says his prediction is not based on a September confrontation with Guerrero - which took place at the official weigh-in for Andre Ward vs. Chad Dawson. And his prediction is not based on the fact that he and Berto share the same manager, Al Haymon. According to Broner, his prediction is completely based on the skills of both fighters.

      Duh. Berto just got caught juicing this year and he's allowed to fight. With roids still on his system should be an easy win

          Broner would like Berto to win, that way Guerrero is out of the way and he doesn't have to face him. Guerrero's got skills boy.

              Guerrero doesn't have pop like Ortiz. Plus he looks all types of wrong at 147. I can see Berto placing his shots, perfectly, without fear of anything big landing.

                      If he blitzes the ghost early, than maybe. But the ghost is one of the best inside fighters - he beats you up from round to round, constantly hitting you on clinches, beats your arms up etc.. Berto is horrible on the inside, like he doesn't know what to do! Honestly people are sleeping on the ghost's boxing ability, he might not have the power to drop or stop berto, but he has enuff to keep him honest and make him think about his next move.
