Comments Thread For: John O’Donnell Targets a Frankie Gavin Clash

London - JOHN O’Donnell is determined to show that he is the best 10st 7lb fighter in Britain when he battles with Irish welterweight champion Stephen Haughian on December 1 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

The 27-year-old from Shepherd’s Bush in London lost a British title challenge to Craig Watson last year but is determined to prove his career is back on track when he faces Haughian over eight rounds on the supporting bill to unbeaten heavyweight prospect Tyson Fury’s showdown with former world title challenger Kevin Johnson in Belfast.

O’Donnell, a former Commonwealth champion, says he is a new man ahead of his return to the ring against Haughian. [Click Here To Read More]

I thought O'Donnell was a decent prospect but his KO loss in Vegas & his lack luster display against Watson makes me think he's domestic level at best (which can sometimes be miles above Commonwealth level)

Never thought he suited 147, do better as a light-middle. Wouldn't be targeting a clash with Gavin though, that's another loss on the record.
