Most of the people voting Duran most likely haven't seen a full fight of his. Highlight vids don't count.

Duran is more skilled, as he was able to apply his skills against better fighters than Floyd. Floyd is more tricky cos Floyd dont want to engage and fight, make him tricky but not more skilled. Not wanting to be hit, dont make you more skilled.

Duran was more confident of his abilities, probably cos he has more more skills. Floyd is a bit more wary of opponents as he doubts his own skill.s

Where do you draw this bit of armchair psychology from? I see absolutely nothing that indicates Mayweather "doubts his own skill". Nor should he, as Floyd is arguably the most skilled fighter of his generation.

It's been noted that Duran was more offensive by nature and Mayweather more defensive. That's a question of style, not confidence.

Like what exactly? This is an absolutely ridiculous assumption/opinion to make and has no basis in anything factual. Both fighters were/are highly skilled, those skills are applied in different ways an you talk about natural ability? Duran is possibly one of the most natural fighters ever to have walked this earth.

Mayweather is clearly more skilled and athletic, although Duran was more aggressive and a harder puncher.

Floyd would never quit like Duran did in the second Leonard fight.

Asked me what? I have seen pretty much all of his fights where there is existing footage. I'm a little older than most here, so I actually remember the fabulous four(five if you count Benitez) fights. I watched his second fight with DeJesus last night also...so I dont get what you're driving at(although I supect it has a flowmo angle..it normally does).

floyd is just better than duran at said attributes, and like I said, floyd is not a great a fighter as duran was overall, but pure skills, goes to floyd.
