Oh my god. These are the SAME "rumors" that Gabriel Montoya, who is a known Floyd hater, started a few months back.

Floyd's passed every test he's taken.

People are dumb as hell. What Hauser is saying is the same thing Montoya was stating over a few months back. He accused Floyd and Golden Boy of this, and than Golden Boy's attorneys sent him a letter saying they'll take legal action unless he removes those rumors, which he did.

The rest was history. The USADA has test results on their website for Floyd's fights.

to recant his statements and settle off court. so, tell me how did that go? he challenged his accusers to show proof and his accusers laid an egg. reasonable people hold off judgement until evidence is present, but it's very convenient for certain folks to forget all about evidence.

if you're innocent, why not sue then? if it's real defamation and no proof is presented, you can collect monetary damages and restore some (but not all) of your reputation. if GBP, USADA, Floyd et al are clean and Hauser is telling lies, why wouldn't the former parties aggressively respond? If they do, it will probably escalate to the point where test results are subpoenaed and if Floyd is clean, then there's no problem. Now, if there's anything funny about those results, then they will just keep it hush and hope that this blows over quickly without any pressure to reveal actual test results.

defamation on GBP, USADA and Floyd. Just because Hauser repeats things that have been said before, it doesn't mean that he's immune from a defamation suit. GBP merely trumpeted pacquiao steroid allegations inititated by the mayweathers, did that preclude them from being sued?

USADA is heavily accused of whoring their services and that cuts deeply into their credibility. I cannot see how they would not sue if they're clean. GBP too, accused of manipulating test reporting. And Floyd, accused of failing tests on A samples and getting an "inadvertent use" get out of jail card. Pretty damning accusations coming from an established source. If you hold yourself to such a high esteem against doping, why wouldn't you defend your reputation vigorously?

anyway, no evidence is presented so it would be unfair start crucifying people but how these parties respond will be very interesting..
