Cotto got a hometown decision, at no time did he have full control of the fight. Watch the fight again and listen to the crowd/crickets. Gonzalez shut the spectators down. They only had two or three times when the got a little excited and Gonzales punched back and they got quiet again. This Cotto is nowhere near as good as his brother and giving him these gifts is just setting him up for a fall.

I got that one all wrong, but I did watch it. Rodriguez, not Gonzales; cousin, not brother. I only wish there was more action in this fight. I got a little frustrated by the posing and missing. The only excitement was the first round knock down, but that just made Cotto into a defensive non aggressor. Even the woman calling the fight said Rodriguez had to leave his style as a counterpuncher. Cotto was counting on the hometown judging and it paid off.
