WBO #14 super featherweight Kamil Laszczyk (11-0, 6 KOs) got his fifth win this year, clearly outpointing overmatched Italian veteran Antonio Cossu, 38, over twelve rounds. The Pole, 17 years his younger, was in full control of the bout and easily outboxed Cossu in almost every round of scheduled twelve. Scores were: 118-110, 119-109 and 120-108 - for the home fighter. As a result of this win, Laszczyk acquired a vacant WBO I/C belt in his comeback to 126 pounds. It's still unclear if he continues to compete as a featherweight or as a super featherweight in the future. Cossu, meanwhile, suffered his first career loss and dropped down to 12-1-1, with 6 KOs.
