Im going to assume that people who fight there can still fight in the olympics?

Just trying to understand why so many talented Ams are staying in the WSB instead of going pro... unless this is pro... im so confused...

Either they're scared (which I doubt) or they're being duped (which I think is extremely probable).

Unless they're playing hardball, which I really, really doubt at this point in their careers. I also hope they're not ****** enough to enter a competition where so few people will watch/care, thus making it much easier for them to get robbed in favour of AIBA favourites (whether corruption is going on or not)

Unless this has got some crazy tv deal, with massive amounts put into advertising etc, its going to flop...

Also its terrible from a boxing perspective. Between the 4 commissions and gazillion belts per class, fans now have to compete with having Amatuer, Pro and WSB formats. Not to mention its another division of the dwindling talent pool that boxing has.
