The legendary Micky “Irish” Ward had a meeting on Monday with the Acquinity Sports team. Ward will be the assistant to head coach German Caicedo next Friday November 30th at the BB&t Center in Sunrise, Florida - as the two of them will work the corner of Joan Guzman. The Dominican two-time former champion faces unbeaten Khabib Allakhverdiev for the vacant WBA "regular" junior welterweight title.

could be a good match, Guzman is a fighter whose dedication has never quite matched his talent. Ward had all the dedication but limited talent...

Hopefully he can instill some good old irish work ethic on Guzman.
