Pacquiao's prime came after their trilogy and at higher weights than Morales. This is a case of people giving Pacquiao too little credit imo.

in their 2nd fight, jmm was a lot more familiar with pac's style and much more prepared. if he fought the same pac, it would've been an easier fight for jmm in the 2nd because he already got pac figured out in the 1st fight. but no, pac gave him a very close fight round for round. a fight that could go either way in most people's eyes.

so how did that happen? did pac improve or not? go figure.
and i don't get all these notions that only jmm should get credit in that fight. oh jmm had a close fight with pac he should get credit. pac can't convincingly beat jmm so he shouldn't get credit.
      excellent post

No point in asking that, a past prime Morales beat Pacquiao.

to think manny was in his prime against morales in their first encounter is foolish.
The Pacquiao of 2010 has improved drastically since 2005.
In their first encounter Pacquiao wore winning gloves which is a cushion compared to his regular punchers gloves Cleto Reyes, and the cut in his eye didnt help matters.
Prime for prime Manny knocks him out

That is ******. If you saw the first fight. The Pacquiao who fought Morales was a one dimensional one trick pony because he doesn't know how to use his right hand and he was relying too much to his straight left not to mention the blood covering his vision from the cut he suffered early in the fight. His promoter Murad was also sold him out and forced him to wear pillow gloves. He was not allowed to wear his favorite puncher gloves, the blood covering his vision, the bood they took for the test magically disappeared 2 days before the fight so that they can take another bood from Pacquiao 1 day before the fight, one trick pony one dimensional midget fighter but guess what? He still gave Morales a life and death for his win.

The Pacquiao who fought Morales the second time was not even in his prime Pacquiao even though he learned a few tricks like how to use his right hand/right hook breaking Morales nose. The prime Pacquiao was the one who beat Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, etc..where he showed he can ko/kd these bigger fighters with his both hands, can take heavy shot like nothing and proved he can beat fighters 3 to 4 divisions above where he originally fought Morales. That is the prime Pacquiao and will beat Morales easily, Easily than the 2nd fight and 3rd fight.

PAC would get murdered....fantasy fight .

In a real fight....Morales will probably beat PAC by decision with PAC coming back to knock him out the next two fights .

I think Morales has this in the bag. He was a great fighter in his prime but we all have to agree that Manny got the Morales that was finished and still put up one last good fight.
