I think Nonito story is a common one in boxing a lot of kids start boxing to gain their fathers respect because their fathers are big boxing fans and they want to make them happy.

yeah i think roy jones and sugar shane mosley are examples of that. Most great fighters are taken to the gym @ a young age whose dad's were boxers mayweather, roy jones, freddie roach and robert garcia as trainers
