Clottey is a free agent now, right? That's what I last heard so we'll probably see more of him, I see him doing well at 154, most overrated division right now.

this has got be the most boring fight in boxing history and the worst match up ever. it would be a snail-paced fight which pretty much goes to mayweather's favor. probably wins by SD

As much as I love Clottey, mainly because he reminds me of a much lesser version of Ike, he has become incredibly overrated since the fight with Pac. The guy has managed to win one vacant title, for only that one single fight, in his whole career against a past it Judah. That's his whole career. Well, that and beating Corrales.

He has managed to lose, in fights he was nearly always winning or could have easily won, to Baldomir, Cotto, and Margarito, his only other name fights. He could clearly have done so much better against Pac but he gave up during the first round despite being able to land clear, clean, flush punches without much trouble at all.

He goes from losing all those fights, though I still think he beat Cotto, to winning a close fight or losing a close split decision to Mayweather? Yeah, of course. He fought Pac, and lost badly, and thus beats or nearly beats Mayweather.

Is that how it works now?
