I can tell by his style of posting, and of course the quoting which only Roberto does.

I can also tell He takes the piss with his posts when He posts here. He knows his boxing no doubt, and I always laugh when posters slag him . If only they knew...

I haven't visited that site nearly as frequently as I have in the past, but "Roberto" seemed to be one of the core members there, and from what I can recall, it definately seemed like he knew what he talking about when it came to this sport & it's great history.

I also don't visit it myself as much as I SHOULD, but I still post there a fair bit.

Roberto is a very good member there, I believe he might of been a former boxing writer, so He knows his facts no doubt. I'm thankful none of the clowns here know about the great forum.

Yes his praise for Oleg Maskaev and hatred for James Toney is a really good indication of a great core of boxing knowledge.

What I've read from him is crap. He flies of on a tangent calling James Toney a whale etc with complete disregard for his HOF status as a fighter. He hates him like he ****** his mother.

I agree that he has a complete hatred for James Toney that is unwarranted but this guy definitely knows his **** & I don't think he hates Toney as a fighter as much as he hates him as a heavyweight. I know I don't "love" the guy, he's dominating his B opponents but he shows a complete and utter disregard for the sweet science by coming in looking like a fatass. But check his Boxing History posts, man knows his ****!

Fatass Toney with a plumber's crack is twice as skilled as any of those pretenders with "titles".

He's one of the best fighters in the division, and brings some much needed excitement.

A lot of people know a lot about boxing history. That doesn't mean they aren't morons.
