    Phantom Ali Punch

It's downright comical how some of you boys want to compare Ettienne to Liston. 2 yrs after Tyson Ettienne was being knocked down by the breeze from Brock's punches. The guy has some kind of neurological disorder.

Liston, regardless of how you rank him among the greats, was an all time great talent and physical speciman with a solid chin.

Tell you what, get in a traditional orthodox boxing stance, now jump back off your leading left leg as you deliver a crossing right hook. Nobody doubts Liston was hit, but that was the popcorn punch Liston was looking for to lay down. Hell, Ali should've been DQed in the bout as he refused to go to the neutral corner and kept Sonny from getting up even IF Sonny had wanted to get up.

Add in that Sonny quit on his stool after 6 rounds in the first fight, and you have a BS series that was long on hysterics and short of substance. Liston was then killed the week before he was due to testify before Congress. Your great aunt Matilda could see the rot in boxing back before you boys was even in diapers yet.

22 yr old Mike Tyson would've made porkpie outta 22-23 yr old hysterical young Clay that fought Liston. That boy was still too green to take on a legit champ as Henry Cooper had shown.

Ah, I thought LRR's "======" looked familiar to me for some reason, and I was also wondering if that was the same guy who posts elsewhere.

In my opinion it looked like it was hard enough to knock Liston down but he probably should have gotten up. He was caught right smack on the chin it looked like and he didnt see it coming at all.

liston got hit right on the chin while his foot was in the air, that punch was clean and hard, it wouldve knocked anybody down in the same position as liston

I can tell by his style of posting, and of course the quoting which only Roberto does.

I can also tell He takes the piss with his posts when He posts here. He knows his boxing no doubt, and I always laugh when posters slag him . If only they knew...
