Funny thing is, I think Staples Center looked damn near sold out. While Donaire well... Yea.

Staples had 7K and lots were comps but there was 8K paying customers at Donaires fight at HDC. Thing is they paid to see Rios & Alvarado... And we got more than our $'s worth!

Mares was getting worked by Moreno despite the win. Donaire is on a higher level and would likely knock both of them out. I predict Top Rank "marinating" until Mares leaves Golden Boy after a soon-to-be-expired contract.

Schaefer will definitely say Mares is better but hey Donaire is #5 top P4P in all rankings and Mares is not even in top 10. No Golden Boy fighters will ever match the Filipino Flash..

Top Rank just put Lara in a main event against one of their up and coming fighters.

They would love to make the Donaire vs Mares fight because they have the winning fighter

If Mares wants to prove hes the best than he needs to tell GBP to step aside and work with Top Rank like Lara did.
