    Hopkins/Jones 2...Warm up for Tarver?

If hopkins wins this fight, will he then face antonio tarver? He originally wanted to fight tarver but hes still busy with rocky 6. If he does beat roy and faces tarver, i think that would be a good reason for me to watch the jones/hopkins rematch this march lol ill be watching it anyway, anyone think this is true?

Hopkins is on borrowed time. He wanted to retire before his 41st birthday.

I don't think he'll beat Jones. He doesn't have the power for a big KO, nor can he put up the activity level to overwhelm.

Aside from that, I don't think Tarver will be back at LT Heavy. Rumor has it he's weighing 210ish.

          That's his walk around weight.
Every training camp he goes into he has to go from that to 175lbs. and if you look at it. He hasn't put on much muscle...he just looks blown up.

I think if there is a fight down at 175lbs. for him. He'll go there.

Yes but if he's bulking up to fight at Heavyweight I think it will be much more difficult for him to take it off. Don't forget, he's pushing 36.

Everything he's said indicates he's serious about fighting at Heavywieght.

I think that's a mistake, but it seems to be the idea he has.

That's not supposed to be the plan. Who knows, though.
